Dear Dianne and Terry, Apologies for not contacting you sooner, but it has been very hectic here in UK since our return! So this is a VERY BIG THANK YOU EMAIL for looking after our two horses for the month they were with you in Texas. They both looked extremely well when they arrived - Wilson sporting a new halter and lead rope? - and both travelled very well indeed. Amber has settled back in her old stable and has proved that she is still the fastest horse on the yard - they all had a race up our hill in one of the pastures, and she won by quite a way as usual!! Wilson is back in full work thankfully, and is doing extremely well with his flat work and jumping. Milly is going to spend the remainder of this year getting him fit before competing next spring. Hi Terry and Dianne, wanted to let you know that this night at midnight my mare and filly arrived here in South Germany in good condition. Both are really sweet and nice horses! I wanted to let you know that you are now my Number 1 Quarantaine facility - you are the first facility that takes care for the hoofs to get trimmed before flight (and in our case shoed) and the filly is not only halter broken - she is very well mannered and not anxious to people like it was in the past - you did a great job!!!!

Last week my assistant Anna and I visited Terry and Dianne at EZ 2 spot ranch. I’ve imported several horses via their facility, and met Dianne once at the airport. Several times I tried to make plans to visit their farm, and finally last weekend was the time! I knew two things about EZ 2 spot: contact with them always runs flawless, and my horses always arrive in very good health. So you can imagine I was curious to find out where my horses spend their quarantine time!

When we arrived at EZ 2 spot, we found ourselves in a ranch that was full of love for the animals. No small or fancy gold plated stalls, but paddocks for every horse. Movable fences so they can fit the paddock to the horse. Bigger horses have the option to get bigger paddocks. The paddocks are big enough for the horses to walk around a bit, and they have lots of contact with their travel companions. They also get turned out every day!

All horses looked the same: calm and relaxed, like their on a vacation. For me, this idea is very relaxing and comforting. The big trip the horses are up to, begins with a holiday that lasts at least a month. The ranch is quiet, not crowded and the horses are handled by more than competent horse people.

We found out Terry and Dianne are not only good with their horses, but also with their guests. We were treated like royalty, Terry prepared the greatest meals, they planned a real nice trip to San Antonio and we had nice conversations. It really felt like a holiday, learning from these amazing people, seeing the way they work and take care of all animals at their farm.

I would advise anyone thinking about importing a horse, to use EZ 2 Spot ranch for quarantine and shipment. I experienced myself how good the horses are treated, and that I couldn’t have any worries about the horses I ship with them. And this is a real precious knowledge!

Terry and Dianne, thanks so much for the great days we had, we will most certainly come back to you one day! And I hope, you will ship a whole lot more horses for me in the future.

My name is Deborah Turner. I am a Nationally Certified Animal Cruelty Investigator. - USA

A friend of mine sold a horse that was to be shipped to Europe and was being kept for quarantine at the EZ 2 Spot Ranch just south of San Antonio. As I had known the horse since he was born, she asked me to please go and check on him. As an investigator for 12 years, I know not to give notice to any facility when I am checking on them. I drove up to EZ 2 Spot Ranch and was met by the owners, Terry and Dianne Nielsen. I checked on the stallion I was there to see and was happy to see how calm he was. I was then taken on a tour of the facility. Mind you, this was in the morning and they had no idea I was coming. The facility was clean, the staff polite but firm about following quarantine procedures and the horses all appeared healthy. I was shown their procedures and was very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and obvious affinity for the horses in their care. I always urge people to make sure to visit and check out anywhere they plan to leave their animals, whether it be canine, feline or equine.
